CPDI Africa, AUST Partner in Afrocentric Design Certification Course

Abuja, Nigeria – The Center for Afrocentric Design Advancement (CPDI Africa) has announced the commencement of its African-Centered Design & Development Certification course to be offered at the African University of Science and Technology (AUST) in Abuja.
The program is being put together to train environment professionals, including architects, planners, engineers, real estate developers, and allied experts.
It aims to equip them with the knowledge and skills to integrate cultural and political factors into sustainable African design and urban development.
The certification course, which is is to run from March 26 to April 30, 2025, will be held both physically and virtually at AUST’s campus.
The curriculum covers essential topics such as real estate development, value chains in architecture, renewable energy, and Afrocentric education models.
Participants will gain firsthand experience from industry experts and earn CPD (Continuing Professional Development) credits along with a certificate in African-Centered Design and Development.
The course fee is set at ₦200,000 per participant and registration is now open via this link. Payments can be made to CPDI Africa – Southern Sahara through UBA Bank (Account Number: 1011026083).
