AUST Trade Fair 3.0 Brings Vibrancy, Enterprise, and Community Spirit to Campus
The African University of Science and Technology (AUST), Abuja, once again came alive with colour, creativity, and commerce during the AUST Trade Fair 3.0, held on the 23rd and 24th of April, 2026.
Organised by the Student Affairs Division as part of activities designed to foster student engagement and entrepreneurship, the two-day event attracted a diverse mix of participants, including students, staff, vendors, and visitors from within and beyond the university community. From food and fashion to beauty products, books, and digital services, the fair showcased a dynamic range of goods and services.
The campus was transformed into a vibrant marketplace, with student entrepreneurs proudly displaying their brands and innovations. The trade fair provided a practical platform for students to explore business ideas, build customer relationships, and gain hands-on experience in entrepreneurship.
The atmosphere throughout the event was energetic and engaging, characterised by music, lively interactions, and a strong sense of community. Attendees moved from stand to stand, discovering new products, supporting student businesses, and connecting with one another in a relaxed and inclusive environment.
Students and entrepreneurs also took centre stage, showcasing a wide array of student-owned businesses, from handmade crafts to innovative digital solutions. Their participation underscored the creativity, resilience, and entrepreneurial drive that define the AUST student community.
Beyond commerce, the AUST Trade Fair 3.0 served as a celebration of collaboration, innovation, and cultural expression. It reinforced the university’s commitment to nurturing well-rounded students by creating opportunities that extend beyond the classroom.
The event once again highlighted AUST’s role as a hub for talent development and community engagement, leaving participants inspired and looking forward to future editions.
