Prof. Onwualu Enjoins Staff To Strive For Excellence In their Services to the University

The AUST  President, Professor Azikiwe Peter Onwualu, FAS has called on Staff of the university to strive for excellence in their respective services.

Prof. Onwualu made this call while addressing the staff of the university during a town hall meeting held at the AfDB hall, AUST.

He mentioned plans to make the staff meeting continuous solely to discuss key issues affecting the university community.

Professor Onwualu announced the development of a standard career guide for AUST staff. The guide, according to him when available will be made public and would provide valuable insights into career development and progression for AUST staff.

The university boss charged all the staff members to uphold the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.

Highlight of the meeting was the appointment of a six- man implementation Committee to ensure the registration and take off of the staff cooperative society.

In addition, the university announced plans to enhance security on campus, including the installation of cameras and improving staff welfare.

Professor Onwualu spoke on the AUSTinspire initiative, which has grown significantly, and will continue to encourage staff to bring in tech-driven businesses for development and support.
