ABUJA — The African University of Science and Technology (AUST), has announced its supplementary admission process for the 2026/2027 academic session. In a release made available, the university’s Head, Media Services/PR, Prince Obioha Sampson Atulomah, the institution by this information is calling on prospective undergraduate and postgraduate students to seize the opportunity to join its esteemed, NUC-accredited programs.
Accordingly, supplementary admission vacancies currently exist across all its undergraduate (B.Sc. & B.Eng.) programmes. The university also provided a clear directive for candidates who had already been offered admission during the primary admission exercise to upload their qualifying results on the JAMB portal, complete all necessary documentation, print their admission letters, and proceed with their registration.
For new prospective applicants seeking undergraduate admission, the university has outlined a five-step application process viz a viz visit the university’s official website at aust.edu.ng to begin the process.
Upon successful initial application, candidates must visit the JAMB portal to change their university of first choice to AUST; Following this, applicants are to inform the university’s admissions office via email at admissions@aust.edu.ng to arrange for a free online Post-UTME screening; Successful applicants will then be duly contacted directly by the admissions office; candidates are then instructed to visit any CBT registration center to accept the admission offer and print their official JAMB admission letter; Finally, these admission letters must be forwarded to the AUST admissions office for filing and final completion of the admission exercise.
AUST is also accepting applications from prospective postgraduate students. Individuals interested in pursuing Postgraduate Diplomas (PGD), Master of Science (MSc), or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees are encouraged to visit the AUST website to identify their program of choice and apply.
In a bid to support academic excellence and make quality education more accessible, AUST is offering various categories of tuition scholarships. These scholarships range from 10% to 75% and are awarded based on the specific course of study and the applicant’s affiliation to the university. Criteria for these lucrative discounts include outstanding performance in O-Level, JUPEB, A-Level, or JAMB examinations, as well as special discounts for staff, alumni, and university partners.
Prospective students are advised to act quickly, as classes for the new academic session are scheduled to resume on October 12, 2026.
