2023/2024 Undergraduate Admissions Screening Process
This is to inform the general public that the post-UTME screening process for the 2023/2024 academic session at the African University of Science and Technology (AUST), Galadimawa, Abuja, is scheduled to start from August 15 – 31, 2023.
Applicants who have met both the AUST UTME Cut Off Mark and the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) criteria will be screened under the following guidelines:
For candidates who have chosen AUST as their first choice: Those who have indicated AUST as their first choice, should access their JAMB Portal through https://jamb.gov.ng/efacility. Here, they should upload their WAEC/NECO results; if this step has not been completed. Once their O’Level results have been successfully uploaded and they meet the minimum requirements for their selected programs, they will receive a provisional admission from the University. It is mandatory for all applicants to personally collect this provisional admission letter from the University's Admissions Office. In case of applicants residing outside Abuja, kindly get in touch with the Admissions Office via admissions@aust.edu.ng to request the provisional admission letter.
For candidates who did not choose AUST as their first choice and those seeking transfers from other institutions, you should visit the JAMB Portal via https://jamb.gov.ng/efacility to make the necessary adjustments to your school choice on your individual portal. Additionally, ensure that your WAEC/NECO results are uploaded on the JAMB Portal. Following these steps, you will be granted a provisional admission from the University. You have the option to either collect this admission letter in person from the Admissions Office or send an email to admissions@aust.edu.ng to request the provisional admission letter.
If you are unsure of your admission status or you require more information on your program applied for, please drop by the Admissions Office or send an email to admissions@aust.edu.ng.
