Erasmus+ KA171-New call for incoming student mobility to UC

We invite applications from eligible candidates interested in joining the Student Mobility Programme, a part of the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) Programme (Erasmus+ KA171) held at the University of Cantabria, Santander, Spain.

Home University: African University of Science & Technology (AUST), Abuja, Nigeria.
Host University: University of Cantebria (UC), Santanda, Spain

Academic Year: 2023/2024 and 2024/2025
Duration: 4-5 months

Eligibility:
Prospective candidates should be currently registered in the MSc or PhD program within either the Materials Science & Engineering department or the Theoretical & Applied Physics department at AUST.
Students with some knowledge of Density Functional Theory will have an added advantage.

What the Erasmus+ grant covers:
Flight ticket from Nigeria to and from Spain.
Accommodation & Feeding in Spain.
Monthly stipend of €850 /month.

Application requirements:
1. Erasmus+ KA171 application form
2. Copy of passport
3. Information about personal data form
4. Curriculum vitae, based on the EUROPASS model
5. Transcript of Records
6. Certificate(s) of language skills accreditation
7. Certificate of enrolment at home university during the current academic course
8. Learning Agreement signed by both, the academic coordinator and the student (please check UC’s  course catalogue/ catálago de asignaturas in order to complete the document)
9. Students from disadvantaged backgrounds must submit valid document(s) accrediting it.

Application Period: March 11, 2024 to March 31, 2024
Starting Date: September 2024
