AUST Gets CISCO Networking Academy Accreditation
The African University of Science and Technology (AUST), Abuja has completed its accreditation and is now officially a CISCO Networking Academy.
Dr. Adejoh John, a Faculty in the School of Computing, led the effort, as part of the External Linkages Committee's tasks.
As a result of this accreditation , CISCO certified courses in Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Networking, etc, can now be offered as CPD courses in AUST.
Meanwhile the university under the auspices of the CPD is working hard towards fixing a fee and schedule(s) for the intended programs and would start advertising the programs once all arrangements have been concluded.
To ensure the programs run hitch- free, a test run of the programs with the university's staff would be conducted very soon.
Highly elated President of AUST, Professor Azikiwe Peter Onwualu, FAS, commended Dr. John Adejoh, for this feat achieved.
He charged other staff both academic and non academic to emulate Dr. Adejoh by tapping into this feat to enhance their job efficiency.
