ENI sets Deadline for the 2026 Young Talents from Africa Award

The African University of Science and Technology (AUST) reminds eligible Ph.D students across Africa that applications for the 2026 Eni Young Talents from Africa Award will close on November 14, 2025.

The award, which is part of the prestigious Eni Award program, celebrates outstanding Ph.D students of African citizenship conducting research in energy and the environment, aligned with the One-Planet, One-Health vision and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Two winners will each receive;A customized plaque,A €25,000 cash prize, and An all-expenses-paid trip to Italy for the official award ceremony.

Applicants must be enrolled in the first or second year of a Ph.D program at an African university or research institute.

Eni has also reiterated its strong commitment to data privacy, assuring applicants that all personal information will be handled securely and in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
