AUST Launches Professional Training on Climate Finance and Policy

Abuja, Nigeria – The African University of Science and Technology (AUST), through its Centre for Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation Studies (C3AMS), has announced an upcoming diploma and professional training program on “Mastering Climate Finance and Policy.”

The online course, set to run from April 18 to June 4, 2025, aims to equip professionals, policymakers, and researchers with essential skills to navigate climate finance and policy landscapes. The program is designed for senior-level professionals and executives looking to lead in sustainable finance and climate governance.

Participants will gain expertise in the intersection of finance, climate change, and policy, learning how to design and implement effective climate finance frameworks at organizational, national, and international levels. The training also focuses on developing innovative climate solutions aligned with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The deadline for applications is April 2, 2025, with a registration fee of NGN 350,000 ($199). Interested participants can register online and contact the helpdesk for further inquiries.
