AUST Awards Full Scholarships to Best-Performing JUPEB Students

The African University of Science and Technology (AUST), Abuja, has announced the award of full scholarships to two exceptional students who achieved perfect scores in the 2025 Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) examinations.

The two recipients, Muzeel Oyindamola Agunbiade and Swithin Chukwu-Ewulu Emeka Bonaventure Egwuchim, distinguished themselves by earning straight ‘A’ grades in all three subject combinations—an extraordinary academic feat that demonstrates their commitment, discipline, and intellectual excellence.

At just 15 years old, Muzeel Agunbiade, from Kwara State, has already achieved a milestone many only aspire to, securing a perfect 15 points in the 2024 JUPEB program at AUST. His outstanding performance reflects not only his brilliance but also the effectiveness of AUST’s academic support system.

Similarly, Swithin Egwuchim, aged 22, from Nnewi South Local Government Area of Anambra State, also earned 15 points, placing him among the best-performing JUPEB students nationwide. His exceptional result stands as a testament to his perseverance and the institution’s commitment to academic excellence.

In recognition of their outstanding performance, the President of AUST, Professor Azikiwe Peter Onwualu, FAS has awarded full scholarships to the two deserving students in pursuit of their undergraduate programs at AUST.

Speaking on the achievement, Prof. Onwualu reaffirmed the university's  commitment and dedication by  fostering a learning environment that identifies, nurtures and rewards academic excellence.
